Membership starts no earlier than the day after purchase and arrangement, unless a later date is requested. Incidents within the first two calendar days after purchase are excluded from a new membership.
An existing breakdown or pre-existing fault is not covered by buying a new membership.
Standard membership is for eligible vehicles used for social, domestic and pleasure purposes, including commuting to a regular place of work. Business use and other excluded uses are not covered.
The standard limits include 3,500 kg gross vehicle weight, 7 metres in length, 3 metres in height and 2.25 metres in width. Read all age, vehicle and usage conditions in the membership terms.
Membership is managed by International Breakdown Ltd trading as National Breakdown. Warranties4U Ltd acts as selling agent arranging the membership.

Yes. Protect and Protect Plus are available as standalone memberships. You do not need to buy a W4U warranty to purchase them.
Protect is the roadside and local-recovery option. Assistance at home or within one mile of home is a Protect Plus benefit, subject to its conditions.
Breakdown assistance and a vehicle warranty serve different purposes. The membership provides the stated assistance and recovery benefits; it does not provide general cover for garage repair bills.
