What is the difference between warranty and breakdown cover?
A vehicle warranty contributes towards eligible repair costs under its terms. Breakdown membership provides the stated roadside-assistance and recovery benefits. They are separate products.
How much does cover cost?
Core car and van warranty starts at £199 including VAT for 12 months with a £500 claim limit. Vehicle pricing adjustments apply. Protect UK breakdown membership costs £69.99 including VAT for 12 months. Your online quote confirms the full price for your selection.
Can I choose when my cover starts?
The checkout lets you select an available start date. Breakdown membership starts no earlier than the day after purchase; incidents within the first two calendar days after purchase are excluded. Read the relevant booklet for all waiting periods and exclusions.
Which vehicles can I get a warranty for?
Our website offers warranty options for cars, vans, motorbikes, motorhomes and caravans. The product, eligibility and booklet depend on your vehicle type.
